Max Tzentis has been fascinated with Martial Arts since he was eleven, and has studied a number of Martial Arts such as Judo, Karate and Taekwondo. In 2004, he began studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and obtained his purple belt. In the next year, he had mastered the art to such an extent that he was already instructing students in different levels of Jiu Jitsu.

Max Tzenis is a distinguished trainer who has the experience of teaching in diverse environments such as the SEED Charter School in S.E. D.C., School without Walls in N.W. D.C., and the Year Up Program in Arlington Virginia.  Max is presently studying Jiu-Jitsu under Pedro Sauer. He also teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is the owner of Pure Performance Martial Arts Center in Rockville, Maryland.
